Poll question: Gore or Obama? No
going to be VP, so your choice has to be on the one that you would vote for regardless of who their VP choice is :)

1. I was leaning Gore until I figured he wasn't running. So I decided on
Obama once it looked like he might. I am not totally committed and a hard core obama fan.

9. I'm surprised at the response - sort of. Tweety was talking about Obama beating out Hillary but mig...
might be damaged himself by then. Then he was talking about Al stepping in to run. It just made me wonder if the people that were really, really committed to Obama would vote for AL.

8. It was supposed to say that neither one was going to be VP. I spell checked it, but didn't realize
I had worded it funny until it was too late to edit it. Sorry:(

12. GORE OBAMA 2008
But if Al Gore does not "change his mind" and seek the nomination, then I am keeping an open mind.

I also think Hillary is very smart and it would be historic to have a woman President.

I'm not saying the IWR vote is unimportant, but that was 2002 and we should be looking forward to 2009 and beyond. I am starting to worry that a lot of the Hillary-bashing is driven by mean-spiritedness.

I have no problem with a Democratic candidate reaching out to independents, undecideds and even moderate Republicans. Bill Clinton and Al Gore did this also in 1992, 1996, 2000.

So even though Gore would be my first choice, I refuse to go negative on Hillary, Obama or any of the other Dem candidates. Right now, Edwards would probably be my second choice after Gore.

Let's all find ways to show our support for Al Gore! :patriot:

13. I'm currently supporting Obama, but voted Gore.
If Gore runs, I'll support him with the hopes he'll take on Obama as VP.
