surprised. I was convinced that the jury was not going to reach a verdict. These people have a lot of fortitude and will be recognized for their service as we go forward from here.
He said that the reason they deliberated so long is because they knew this was very important. And they wanted to be sure they reviewed the evidence and went over the testimony so people could not say they had their minds made up in advance.
2. Those guys are National Heros...they considered every evidence
and took 10 days to reach a verdict....some of them mighta been confused so they asked simple questions to clarify/confirm whatever they were discussing...this makes for a better decision in finding the verdict...
They did not let pressure get to them...they wanted to do the right thing...and they did.
