HUGE: Ohio SoS to take possession of the 2004 ballots and other key documents
Discussion at: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x582783

Big developments in the Ohio 2004 story include:

1.) Ohio AG Marc Dann himself acting as lawyer for SoS Brunner
2.) Court order that SoS preserve 2004 ballots
3.) Ohio GOP Chairperson/Cuyahoga BOE Chairperson Bob Bennet loses again, and must face the court.

Real progress in investigation of 2004 irregularities is definitely in process now.

3. Excellent News, Sir!
With any luck, the indictments should hit about the start of primary voting, and the trials commence after Labor Day in '08....

10. The fight has been ongoing, the Transistion was post 2006 election.
The voters replaced the Ohio corrupt and sleazy politicos with a brand new team, and this is the impact of the election.

Thank Diebold for a fairer election, oddly enough, since almost anything was an improvement on easy-to-switch punch-card ballots without precinct labels.

Yes, I know, paperless e-voting must go to before they completely scam the People again!!

5. Now everyone can see the stickers placed over Kerry/Edwards
checks and the hand-written check for the Bu$h/Cheney team!

6. Don't understand what you are referring to -
I'm not disagreeing - but what stickers? Are you referring to campaign checks? Please inform.

7. I think that poster is referring to something along these lines:
Also in Clermont County, Phillips found an opti-scan ballot with a white sticker over the Kerry-Edwards spot which would prevent the counter from recording a Kerry vote. During the December 2004 recount in Clermont County, witnesses swore out official affidavits that they saw several ballots with stickers over the Kerry-Edwards spot. The county prosecutor claimed there were “less than one hundred” of these, but was unable to explain why any stickers were there at all.

There was a PDF prepared with photos of such evidence on the actual ballots, but I've misplaced the bookmark. Maybe someone else will see this and supply it. (Although, if I recall correctly, that PDF was not of Clermont County ballots, but rather Franklin, maybe?)
