Saying how I learned a lot about the motivations of the press and how astounded I was at Tim Russert's incredible incompetence. I knew Russert was a lightweight pretending to be deep but that interview really nailed him and I suspect Russert wasn't even aware how bad he looked.

Bill Moyers has such a calming tone to his voice. How anyone could discount what he has said is beyond me. I have always loved his shows and hope he will continue to provide factual essays and interviews to spread the truth. Such a rare talent.

Your documentary was amazing! It did indeed go farther than anything I've seen on TV on the subject. But I still want the answer to "why?" Why did Judith Miller lie?
And where does Tim come off telling you he found up the news in the New York Times? We know from the Libby trial documents, his name was on the White House's propaganda outlets - along with Miller and most TV stations, newspapers etc.
And thanks for praising the brave Knightrider reporters. I remember during the democratic primaries, when RNC&Drudge were teaming up to slime Wesley Clark (for his war opposition), it was only those guys who printed the truth (it was as easy to find as reading a congressional transcript )

Dear Mr. Moyers,
I want to express my extreme gratitude for your show last night exposing the complicity of the main stream media in promoting the Bush administrations agenda for going to war with Iraq. It is because of their actions, and inactions, that we are in this Vietnam like quagmire of a war with no easy options for extracting our military and stabilizing the region. If more journalists had the integrity of the Knight Ridder staff that you showcased perhaps 3,333 of our soldiers would still be alive and our country would not be reviled throughout the world.

The beginning drumbeat of war with Iran has started and let us hope that enough journalist, newsroom decision makers, and ordinary citizens have learned a lesson in the errors of judgement in trusting the current administrations officials. Unfortunately this may not be true as the likes of Judith Miller and Bill Krystal still are being listened to and receive attention from the major news channels.

I look forward to watching more thoughtful programming from your show.

is so much more than just "information". You have given us a special gift. One could think of this documentary work as a Procecutor's Opening Statement. Now it is up to the rest of us to inform, awaken American through the grassroot networking and activism. Place the "bums" on trial of sorts....hold them accountable.
