Names of Senators who voted for the August 3rd FISA bill
See:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=110&session=1&vote=00309

It appears that most of the leading Democrats voted against it
Except for J. Lieberman & D. Feinstein - why her?!!

Some of the newly elected Senators voted for it:
McCaskill, Webb, Klobuchar, Casey,
Also: Carper , Landrieu, Lincoln, and more

5. He may not be an original signatory
but he has been a member and signed at least one of their manifestos.

6. I've looked through the signatures of every single letter and statement...
found here: http://www.newamericancentury.org/lettersstatements.htm

His name didn't appear on a single one.

9. Don't you find it interesting?
that someone would take the time and effort to remove Webb's name from every PNAC document, even those in the wayback archive?
It's like something out of 1984 or the Stalin period where those purged would disappear from official photographs as if they had never existed.

10. It's either his name has been scrubbed via some Orwellian conspiracy, or...
the source you named is simply wrong.

I don't doubt your conviction here -- I certainly don't think you're lying to me -- but I wonder whether your source is accurate.

Would definitely like to see what you've got archived. I'm curious as to which of the PNAC's statements Webb would sign on to.

12. Here's a useful chart showing who signed on to what at PNAC

Project for a New American Century (PNAC)
A Complete List of PNAC Signatories and Contributing Writers

It might be a good idea to save this for future reference.

13. Thanks!
That's definitely helpful. I'm glad to see Webb only signed the one statement on coming to Taiwan's defense in case of an attack from China, and that back in 1999, before the group became more widely known. That said, if you judge a man by the company he keeps, Webb certainly looks ugly here.

14. I used to work for the CIA
that doesn't mean I torture people. We all make mistakes. Let's hope that's all it was.

7. I'll back you up--I KNOW I saw his name on a PNAC document a few months ago--
it was here on DU, and there was some discussion about it. To me, it doesn't matter--he's against the war, and I consider him converted! :-)

8. I have copies somewhere in my archives
I went to the wayback machine and his name has been purged as far as I can tell. Apparently, there are others who's names have been purged as well.
I find it interesting that someone has access to the wayback machine and can delete or modify the archives.

I'm fine with him changing his mind and voting against the war.
