Ding-dong the Rove is gone!
Ding-dong the Rove is gone
The Karl Rove? The wicked Rove
Ding-dong the wicked Rove is gone
Wake up you sleepyhead
Rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up the wicked Rove is gone
He's gone where consultants go
Back home – back home – back home
Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low
Let them know the Wicked Rove is gone

1. He will have a direct open line to Bush**, and will give orders to the WH
from his "remote" location. They can't move without his direction.

3. This is the way Karen Hughes and Mary Matalin "left", and went home.
They ended up coming back and/or "advising" from their "remote" locations.

I'll withhold glee until I find out EXACTLY what the real story is. If he's "resigning" (for real), he's not doing it because he's tired of what he's doing. He's become a liability for some reason, and we may soon find out why. If he's NOT really "resigning", but just "relocating", my guess is he will resurface with another campaign in about a month or so.

This is not a man who does things for the welfare of anyone but himself -- even his family comes about tenth on his list. He's doing what's best for Karl. Count on it.

2. The never go away. They just get another charge of freon for their heart.
Is Karen Hughes gone? She left to spend more time with her family. I guess they got sick of her.

Rove will re-emerge somewhere.

4. Gone from public scrutiny, but hardly 'gone'
Still plenty of misery to be heaped upon us at Rover's command.

6. There *is* a God
Nice to start the week with a bit of good news.:)

Although I still can't help but think how little difference there is between Rove's so-called resignation and a powerful mafia boss continuing to run his operation from a jail cell.

I've often called for Rove to serve jail time, but often I wonder if even that would stop him from ruling the roost.
