1. Good for North Carolina Democrats to see strengths in at least 3 of our
Democrats.

And a curse upon those North Carolina Republicans who think Fred Thompson is a sentient being.

2. The survey only included those three candidates
Here's the question that they asked:

In the 2008 presidential race there are three Democrats in the top tier of candidates, Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama. If the Democratic primary were today which of these candidates would you vote for, or would you vote for a different candidate?

3. I was aiming for the rounded edge in praising the field of
Democrats. I'm cool with the question insofar as it aimed for its prescribed target.

4. "Margins of error are 4.5 per cent and 3.8 per cent." So, it's basically a tie.
Polls are often what ever you want them to be.

5. Uh... WRONG!
Whoops! The article makes a mistake in its reporting. The actual numbers are:

HRC: 30%
Edwards: 28%
Obama: 21%

The source of the polling info the article cites: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/surveys/PPP_Release_090607.pdf

11. Oh, well. To be honest,
I don't really give a damn about poll numbers anyway. It's just nice to see any poll posted that doesn't put HRC or Obama on top.
