Kucinich......We did it !!!
via email

Dear xxxxx

Thanks to your generous contribution, we reached our goal of $300,000 for the month and our goal of $1,000,000 for the quarter.

Our numbers keep going up. Contributions have increased every quarter. This means more people are becoming aware of Strength through Peace and how these policies can improve their lives and our country.

You are an integral part of this campaign. Your efforts are making a difference.

Thank you again for your support,

Dennis Kucinich

stephen colbert challenged dennis to go onto his show

ever hear of the colbert bump?

it's when a candidates numbers go up after appearing on the colbert report

so, dennis take the challenge and go on the show

let's all encourage dennis to go on

46. same for us
our name was entered on his donor rolls for a second time this quarter. We are not happy until we donate enough to DK that our names are posted on the Federal Elections Commission web site as a Kucinich donor. It takes a 200 dollar donation to be listed under a Kucinich campaign report to the FEC.

15. Go Dennis!
Awesome. Being on SSI, I can't afford to give financially, but if anyone can change that situation, it's Dennis. Until then, I'm trying to do my part in my own way. My therapist, a staunchly anti-Iraq Democrat, had no idea who Dennis was. I think I convinced him to take a look today.

GOOD NEWS: I called Conyer's office today. There are now 55 co-sponsers for Dennis' H res 333! Both Allen & Michaud from Maine have signed on, RESPONDING to our intensive campaign to get them to. ( And their own natural rejection/common sense of what is going on.)

24. Yep, he has a very solid campaign staff
Called me directly and after introducing himself as an intern for the campaign, said: "Your are probably pretty politically savvy, so you know what I am calling about. We are so close, about $30,000 away, from making $1,000,000 this quarter..." Just straight-forward, not pushy nor insulting. And willing to make the calls. That is a difficult kind of volunteer to find.

Dennis runs a great organization.

and provide full disclosure on his donors. Over 50% do not have required disclosure compared to 90% or more of the other presidential candidates. Maybe this quarter he will have done better.

Most of his individual donations are under $200, so no disclosure is required.

"Federal election laws require that all contributions of $200 or more be itemized, with the donor's name, address, occupation and employer fully disclosed."

3 months at $300,000 a month would only be $900,000, so one or both of the previous months were better than September.

but money would override all of that.
And, $1M per quarter while Obama reported $18M and Hillary $22M,
even Richardson reported $15M.

So Kucinich has to do a better job raising money.

to some of the other campaigns, yet it does point to the fact that more people are listening to what Dennis is saying and that they approve. This in spite of the fact that he is hardly ever discussed on TV when speaking of the candidates and if the media does mention him an automatic label of 'far left' is normally applied.
