5. It's not "official"
Let's just say it's certain to happen. I have some connections to various batcaves...

29. I am a huge Russ fan, but that ticket is too midwest based
Obama/Richardson would be better.

11. A combination that would challenge America's biases
I'd vote for that ticket, but I wonder about my fellow Americans.

12. I've thought about this ticket a lot
I met Russ briefly when doing the first Obama table of the season last April. He stopped by briefly and talked to people hanging around the table and whispered with a grin "Obama!" as he went off to go into the Capitol building nearby.

Obama has been talking about campaign finance reform and fighting special interest money a lot recently. Along with his statements 5 years ago to the day about how going to Iraq was the wrong idea, this fits perfectly with what Russ Feingold feels strongly about.

They would be a formidable ticket.

4. Since the Iran resolution, I will not vote for Hillary in the primaries
and if somehow she gets gets the nomination, she will NOT get my support

Her vote on the Iran resolution indicates to me that her judgement is flawed. She learned NOTHING from her vote on the IWR

I am quite happy to see someone who has been right on MOST of the issues, not endorsing Clinton.

Those who voted for that resolution are going to look like clowns when bush attacks Iran saying it is to protect our troops in Iraq. I have no doubt when that reason is given, they will fall right in line with the bush

It is imperitive that the Democrats nominate someone who wants us out of Iraq

Feingold is one of the two endorsements I've named that could cause me to reconsider my support for Edwards, if they both endorsed someone else. The other is Al Gore. If Obama can get Al Gore's endorsement as well, I may have some thinking to do.

14. We would welcome Bush to the Orpheum
http://www.sambush.com/

or maybe

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_(band)

If George Bush sets foot in Madison proper, he might face a citizen's arrest for war crimes. For that, we welcome him to visit.

18. I seriously doubt that
Will Clinton be running for Senate again after she drops out on February 9th, 2008? I thought she still had a couple years to finish her term.

I've long wondered about the idea of an Obama/Feingold ticket. But 2 Senators on the same ticket...hmm? Is that very likely?
