CNN - "Hillary Cackle Coverage"
Edited on Tue Oct-02-07 11:30 AM by Mother Of Four
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2007/10/01/pkg.moos.cackle.youtube

CNN comparing Hillary to Ghouliani and Al Gores "Overdone" kiss.

Unlikely though it seems, Hillary isn't the only target. They also put in about the ghouls cell phone usage.

Apologies if this is a repost, it was placed up on Oct 1, 2007

(Edit: Just wanted to put in here...I LIKED the kiss. It was the ONLY real one I've seen in politicians- Thats why the "-" around it. The word Overdone is from the clip.)

1. Hens cackle. My, I don't appreciate that belittling comparison.
The poor woman isn't even allowed to laugh without getting gored.

4. The Media do not want Hilary perceived as likeable.
Her laugh humanizes her and her sharp wit makes her attractive.

The Media have a way of trying to keep Democrats strapped in
a vice. This gives Republicans headway.

I hope Hilary just keeps on keeping on. Her last 3 or 4 appearances
have been super. The people will like her if the Media do not.

John Kerry(my candidate) could never pull himself out of the
grasp of Media holding him back. He could never relax.

The Media will find something negative to chew on--no matter
what. Candidates you will do well to ignore them and Be Yourself.

14. I've seen a lot of this coverage, and it looks quite damaging to Hillary.
I mean which of her consultants advised her do this??? This doesn't humanize her at all. She's laughing at the wrong moments in a lot of these interviews and it does not look good. Too me it makes her look condescending; dismissive of the interviewer and the questions. And many already have that impression about her.

When Wallace asked her that idiotic question, go ahead and laugh at that. But the other instances??? This is turning into a mess for her.

5. the coverage of the so called "cackle" started over at MSNBC with cackler of the great "HA !"
loud mouthed Chris Matthews himself, who, apparently has a pact with POPPY Bush to "give Hillary hell" and since POPPY won't be out there doing it, he is surely enlisting people to do it for him. Chris Matthews is one of his first enlistees. I just wonder how much in Carlisle shares is POPPY forking over to Matthews and now copycat CNN.

10. I would like to watch the last debate again.
It seemed like Hillary's laugh sounds were greatly reduced after the first break. I had already assumed during the beginning of the debate that the production people increased her mic volume when she was not speaking in order to do this to her.

Either the handlers let Hillary know this was going on and she needed to be careful or they got to the sound people and told them to knock it off.

15. "Cackle" implies an old hen. I'm not a Hillary fan, but this particular
description is demeaning. I doubt they'd ever say a male candidate "cackled."
