Let me congratulate Hillarites for their candidate's fundraising success this quarter
Edited on Tue Oct-02-07 06:50 PM by Katzenkavalier
Very good job. You, the supporters and donors, have given your candidate a strong boost, and that's always nice.

I know how it feels to see your donations doing something for your candidate, so I couldn't help but congratulate all of you.

Hillary is a very strong, tough candidate to beat. You guys are winning so far and as a proud Obama supporter I can't do anything else but admit it and keep working hard for my candidate. After all, it seems like it's Hillary vs. Obama now.

Let the best candidate win.

3. I think its Hillary vs Obama as much as its a Clinton victory.
I don't believe any votes have been placed and I hope Obama supporters aren't going to start writing off everyone like the Clinton supporters have already been doing. There is a democratic system and I haven't made my primary vote yet. I admit its nice to see Obama looking better because of Hillary starting to look bad but there are other candidates that I and others support and we should respect everyones votes that still haven't even been placed.

7. What is impressive about both Obama and Hillary is...
Edited on Tue Oct-02-07 06:55 PM by cobalt1999
It takes a lot of organization, planning, and mobilization of staff to do what they have done so far. It bodes well for their abilities to run the country.

If someone can't even get a campaign off the ground, I'm not trusting them with the reins of government.

What those two have done is impressive.

9. Dont forget it takes money and people want favors returned.
Thats the scary part about money running an election, we continue to see our country taken down a path of destruction because the people aren't worth anything anymore and now most politicians are elected to make profits for wealthy and corporations instead of representing the peoples voices like in the past. I would much rather have someone not influenced by money that could surround themselves with some of the successful people in politics to help run a country efficiently and for the people. When I look around at most peoples choices for president, I see people giving in to the current democracy ran by money system and thats why our country and our rights continue to go away. I wish my children could have a better future than what most Americans are choosing for them but name recognition and television advertising is too much for most citizens to read through and see truth. Maybe after we go after Iran, another country will step up and make us pay the price for the deaths we are causing and we will wake up.

I know that Obama and Clinton are the popular kids in school but I also noticed neither of them made their voice heard and voted on Thursday against more funds for the war. To me thats enough not to vote for them, I am against this illegal war for oil.

After our rights are destroyed and all hell breaks loose, hopefully America will rebuild and once again be a leader of people in the world instead of the leader of business.

11. True.
However, I'm a realist too. It takes favors and paybacks to congress members to get anything effectively passed. It takes favors and paybacks when working with foreign governments. It takes favors and paybacks to work with the private sector.

Do I like that we don't live in a perfect world? No, of course not. However, it's been that way forever

Since we don't live in a perfect world, we better have the best person we can get that knows how to play the game and can get something done.

13. But are they getting something done for the people?
The congress can still play their games and pass amendments against newspaper ads and ignore impeachment and stuff but I think our country needs a president that will give us a voice and make Americans wake up again and get involved in whats going on, most do nothing and say its because they don't matter.

12. thank you for your kind Post
although I defend her a great deal -- it's that knee-jerk sense of people being treated fairly I was raised with -- I haven't actually chosen a candidate yet and to find a nice, respectful Obama supporter congratulating one of his opponents is fantastic.
