Due to overwhelming ticket sales, Obama rally in Madison is moving to larger venue

Barack Obama was scheduled to speak on October 15th at the Orpheum Theater in Madison with a capacity of 2,500, but since those tickets are already sold out with much more demand, the Field House, which can handle 20,000+ people, will be the new venue. This was announced tonight and should be updated on the web site shortly.

It should be a barnstormer!

4. when I was in Madison Saturday and we looked at the venue, we knew it would be moved.
I forgot how small it was until we went past it. Madison is somewhere that obama is going to have one of those tens of thousands come to see him.
My husband and I planning to go.

9. It's over the top fun!
I've actually never felt more confident that Obama is going to do very well in the primaries. He's going to win. The support out there is deep and sincere...and boots are already on the ground.

Get ready for a wild ride!

Come to the big bad city! Well, it's not bad... and it's not that big...

It was a gorgeous evening here walking the dog (avatar) along Lake Monona... she almost caught a rabbit.

13. Howdy zulchzulu. The photograph you have there...
It isn't difficult to imagine that it's a photo of the next president and his attorney general.

17. Agreed...
Russ would make a fine AG.

Speaking of Jackson Browne, have you ever listened to his live solo album "Solo Acoustic, Vol. 1"? Truly beautiful music...

20. Yes! He's as good with the high-voltage road band as he is in the acoustic
studio.

And he's totally left on the issues, especially after the appalling Reagan administration.

He sent a check to Ned Lamont, too.

Feingold would be refreshing as all get out as anybody's veep of course, but I would love someone like that runnng the Justice Department. After Ashcroft and Gonazales, I'd give a lot to have a true heart like Feingold in there.
