Politico writer says Dems must woo white men to win
Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 08:58 AM by EV_Ares
By: David Paul Kuhn - Politico.com

The 2008 election offers the most diverse array of presidential candidates in history. But this rainbow campaign will hinge on the most durable reality of American politics: White men matter most.

Every election cycle, a new slice of the electorate — suburban mothers, churchgoing Hispanics, bicycling Norwegians — comes into vogue as reporters and analysts study the polls and try to divine new secrets about who wins and why in American politics.

The truth is that the most important factor shaping the 2008 election will almost certainly be the same one that has been the most important in presidential elections for the past 40 years: the flight of white male voters away from the Democratic Party.

NOTE: Guess the White Males want this brave hero:

5. Exactly - when these smarmy "players" first brought up Politico.Com site ...
Dear Leader OPENLY *promoted* them during a press conference: "Say ah, you're from that Po-Li-TICO Dot Com, right? :silly:

Politico.com exists so that the political ruling elites can make the cursory claim that they listen to the concerns of the net roots. :eyes: However, what they do could not be more corrupt - they MOLD their stories to serve the Political Ruling Elites' agenda within The Beltway.

4. Politico has some close ties to Drudge..
Drudge links to Politico 45 times during its two-month existence (from March '07)
As Media Matters for America has noted, Politico chief political correspondent Mike Allen's March 27 article, "Rookie Mistakes Plague Obama," was apparently flagged by Matt Drudge's website, The Drudge Report, approximately one hour before The Politico posted the article on its website on the evening of March 26. John Harris, Politico editor-in-chief, has written about the media's interest in having their work linked to on the Drudge Report. Several commentators, including blogger Glenn Greenwald, have noted an apparent tendency of Drudge to link to Politico items. Media Matters has reviewed the Drudge Report Archives and found that since The Politico launched on January 23, Drudge has linked to Politico items on at least 45 separate occasions.

7. The racism is thick and deep at Politico, it seems. And that's just the tip of the melting iceberg.
Should the hate mongers at Politico wake up they would realize they've just ungraciously insulted the intelligence of "regular" men insinuating they are too stupid to see the predominant skin color of the boys making up the corrupt Bush administration and their lap dogs republicans in congress that have done more damage to the pay checks of middle class Americans than even the inflation during the Jimmy Carter years did.

However, the hate mongers at Politico are not being paid to wake up, are they?
