If I knew what Hillary was for, I might be for Hillary!
If I had a clue what she stood for, I might be for her. I have read a bit, and I have a decent idea where Gravel, Edwards, Obama, Dodd, Biden and Kucinich stand.

They tend to let you know, they even, for the most part, let you know when they are conflicted on an issue.

I have been reading and watching Hillary, and with a few clear exceptions, I don't have a big issue with how she has voted on issues. However it is impossible to guess where she actually stands on the issues ahead.

I have no issue with flip-flop, I like a candidate that can grow and be persuaded by facts.

I have no issue with not being strong on a particular subject, I like a candidate that knows when they do not have enough data to make a good decision.

I have no issue with a candidate taking another candidates arguments, this shows that when they hear a better idea, they can grow and change.

What I do not like is the mask. What I don't want is a candidate who will wink at me on my issue but try to look like they are in another camp. If they will buddy up to me and try to fool the rest, what makes me think I am not being fooled? Who here doesn't feel like they have been winked at by Hillary?

I don't want the candidate of the least rejection, I want the best candidate with the greatest vision. Gravel, Kucinich, Edwards and Obama have all shown me visions of a future that I want to see come true. Hillary has only shown me that she could handle the presidency and that she is better than the Republicans. What wouldn't be better than the Republicans? If Bush could 'handle' the presidency, then my dog could 'handle' the presidency.

Some part of me wants to see Hillary as President, just because she might remember how the Republicans treated her. I really, really want to like her!

Wouldn't voting for someone blindly, not knowing what their priorities really were, make me almost like a Republican?

2. You're well read enough to know where Dodd stands yet remain ignorant of Hillary?
Pardon me, if I am unable to suspend disbelief.

4. This OP
seems to me to really be trying to understand, and all you can do is throw insults? You don't want to stand up for your candidate?

6. Are you kidding?
Gotta love Dodd, he has taken one of the strongest stances against the war and for the Constitution. He does not mince words. He is dead set against torture. I like his candor. His Corporate Carbon Tax is one of the best ideas I have heard so far!

7. Dodd is a great candidate.
But again, to know Dodd that well implies you are indeed well read and informed, to claim ignorance on Hillary positions seems a bit incredible to me.

BTW OT but feel free to add to a positive thread for Dodd supporters.

8. There is a difference between hearing policy and knowing goals.
To know their goals, it takes feeling the fire behind the stance. Knowing the passion.

Gravel is the candidate that I find I agree with the most, and he makes it very clear how he feels about the issues. In his case, this may have worked against him.

Edwards does not alway stay with his heart, but his passion is clear, and his dreams are dreams we need to come true.

Kucinich wears his heart on his sleeve, I love him for that. I love his compassion led logic.

Obama mostly holds back, but on occasion his fire and passion and vision show through brilliantly. I would be proud to have him as my President.

Gore, I really, really, wish were running!

Hillary is not so easy to read. This may make her perfect for the job, but only if she is perfect for the job. How would I know?

3. It's simple: she's for Hillary
Isn't that enough?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

5. Well it sounds like you have four candidates you like
Good for you! So many choices. Isn't it great that people can like different candidates for their own particular reasons?
