Will you hold her approval of torture against her?

3. Of course.
But she sent a letter for the American Freedom Campaign saying she will uphold the constitution. Kind of hard to get a handle on her isn't it? By the way, no country that tortures as policy is free. That includes us right now.

4. Bush Claims That He's Upholding The Constitution
John Dillinger thought he was helping the little guy.

Interpretation's a funny thing, ain't it?

6. And for clarification, my answer of course
is referring to the question will I hold it against her. The problem I guess I have is in what instance is she lying? Saying she was in favor of torture in certain instances or her response to the American Freedom Campaign? I don't feel comfortable with her because she plays two ends against the middle too much to know where she stands.

7. True. She does have that in her corner.
She also has in her corner the letter she sent to the American Freedom Campaign. But of course, if she becomes president, she calls the shots, not Clark.

11. I don't consider her PRO torture ....
Nor do I consider this a valid question, given that many voters vote for someone whom they have at least SOME disagreement with .....

Sheeesh .... These thumbscrew threads are nuts .....

14. It can be considered a valid question.
If she indicated in the past maybe in certain circumstances, and then when all the other candidates sign on to prohibit it, she does too, people have at least a right to question. I'm not saying she is pro torture but she is the only one that has had a hesitation.
