Dear Rachel Maddow: Don't you think it's time to quit playing the scream?
The play and movie is about the dirty tactics used against the Dean campaign. Not especially about his scream or him.

It is about lobbyists and consultants:

Named after the Washington Metro station located near many lobbyists' offices, the play follows a young, idealistic communications director who works for an inspiring, though unorthodox, presidential candidate. During the campaign, his career is done in by more seasoned politicos who thrive on poisonous partisan politics, dirty tricks and back-stabbing.

It was written by Beau Willimon, who worked on the Dean campaign. Willimon, who is adapting his own work, held readings of the play during the summer in which Jake Gyllenhaal participated. The play, which Mike Nichols is slated to direct, is set to open in fall 2008, just before the presidential election.

Clooney, DiCaprio working on political thriller

Just saying...maybe time to quit acting like FOX and show a little respect.

Gets old after a while. Love your show, but that is just getting tiring.

1. Well, I guess it must just be me.
But I thought that they were making fun of Dean for a movie and play about lobbyists.

And I am just as tired of partisan attacks on our Democrats, Dean or anyone else, by our radio hosts. Rachel still plays the scream a whole lot...an extended one.

It does not show respect at all. Randi, well, I don't know...I don't listen much because she is insulting her callers.

They took a play which is not a bad thing about the Dean campaign, and she her cohort giggled and laughed and played the scream.

She has been one of my favorites, but I am beginning to think she needs to change a little of that.
