Brokers snatch joy from Hannah Montana fans
Kids' sensation Hannah Montana is a heroine to millions of young fans and when Disney announced a U.S tour, tickets sold out in minutes. But not to the child fans. Ticket brokers swooped up thousands of tickets -- and desperate fans found they would have to pay up to $2,000 for a $63 ticket. full story

1. One of my friends tried to take her son to see her
and found out just a few hours after tickets went on sale that the concert was sold out. She was able to find tickets at a broker- $400 for the upper section in the back of the stadium.

2. I read that brokers are swiping all the tickets before the kids can get them.

5. Scalping is not illegal everywhere
It just became legal in Minnesota this past summer and MN is not the first state to legalize it.

This is a golden opportunity for parents to sit their little darlings down and explain to them that they can't always get what they want (or perhaps put on a Stones' album and let Mick sing it to the child). Hopefully, there we'll be a lot of scalpers on the street corners the nights of the concerts selling their tickets for face value or less.
