Canvass for Change: Barack takes to the Iowa streets

Today Obama supporters all over the country went door-to-door to talk to their neighbors about Barack's message of turning the page in Iraq. Here in Iowa, it was a little rainy but that didn't stop us! A few of our early-rising volunteers put together a makeshift phone bank to make sure everyone was going to brave the weather and still come out to canvass.

Sure enough, we had a great turnout. After a kickoff rally at East High School in Des Moines, Barack headed out to knock doors. Here's a slide show of pictures from the day.

1. I am not in the Obama camp - but those are nice pics - he is doing good work

out there talking & listening to the people. There are some kids in Iowa who are excited about politics tonight who may have never been exited before...

Creating democracy one neighborhood at a time... that is what I am appreciating about Edwards & Obama these days.
