Maybe We Should Focus Our Anger On The Rethuglicans And Not Each Other
We are beginning to resemble a circular firing squad...

The Rethuglicans are mean, nasty, and tough, and want nothing more than to kick our liberal asses and put us in our place...By bashing one another we are unwittingly assisting them...

"United we stand, divided we fall. We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately. ..."

3. I Am For As Big A Tent As Possible
As LBJ said, I rather have my opponents in the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in...

4. Oh, fuck you....
But you are absolutely right.

This high-octane, compressed campaign/primary thing has totally focused the opposition on the sure winner, Hillary Clinton.

I have long held that the reason for the early primaries was to allow the 'pubs the widest window of time to try to destroy the opponent.

10. I agree with what you just said,
but I will ask you again, where is 'inside the tent,' if not here. I make a point of not saying anything against a Democrat, but there are still differences. How do you voice an opinion on the differences?

9. The Democratic candidates aren't doing that
They've started sniping eachother to death and have forgotten that whole "Elect us in 2006 to end the war" thing.

12. Part of the problem imho
Edited on Tue Oct-16-07 11:10 PM by Jim4Wes
is the way posts are manged by the forum. There needs to be a positive and negative rating capability to moderate the loony bin. Posts such as yours are admirable but the effect is questionable.

13. The problem might be there is too much anger against Republicans.
You can't even reason with them because logic and reality have no meaning to many conservatives. Thus, the unresolved anger ends up spilling over into this arena. I love liberals, it's people who irritate the hell out of me. I'm surprised it isn't much worse, considering many of us have an incredible amount of pent up anger, frustration and sorrow because of what's happened to our country in the past 7 years. It's no wonder many of us are a bit "snippy" about voting choices, since so much is at stake. Oh hell, I'm not a psychiatrist, so I'll just shut up and go to bed.
