Rudy Giuliani's Five Big Lies About 9/11
Nearly six years after 9/11, Rudy Giuliani is still walking through the canyons of lower Manhattan, covered in soot, pointing north, and leading the nation out of danger's way. The Republican frontrunner is campaigning for president by evoking that visual at every campaign stop, and he apparently believes it's a picture worth thousands of nights in the White House.
Giuliani has been leading the Republican pack for seven months, and predictions that the party's evangelicals would turn on him have so far proven hollow. The religious right appears as gripped by the Giuliani story as the rest of the country.

Giuliani isn't shy about reminding audiences of those heady days. In fact he hyperventilates about them on the stump, making his credentials in the so-called war on terror the centerpiece of his campaign. His claims, meanwhile, have been met with a media deference so total that he's taken to complimenting "the good job it is doing covering the campaign." Opponents, too, haven't dared to question his terror credentials, as if doing so would be an unpatriotic bow to Osama bin Laden. Here, then, is a less deferential look at the illusory cloud emanating from the former mayor's campaign . . .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG LIE 1. 'I think the thing that distinguishes me on terrorism is, I have more experience dealing with it.' This pillar of the Giuliani campaign—asserted by pundits as often as it is by the man himself—is based on the idea that Rudy uniquely understands the terror threat because of his background as a prosecutor and as New York's mayor. In a July appearance at a Maryland synagogue, Giuliani sketched out his counterterrorism biography, a resume that happens to be rooted in falsehood. (SNIP)

1. Guiliani is a ghoul
Edited on Wed Oct-17-07 12:36 AM by ...of J.Temperance
This is a critter who's made millions for himself from exploiting September 11th....since 2002, Guiliani has criss-crossed across the globe, whoring himself out to the highest bidder to "advise" on security issues and how to deal with terrorist incidents.

I mean seriously, for one thing, Guiliani would be the last person I'd hire to advise me on how to deal with security issues and terrorist incidents....this moron made the decision to put the Crisis Command Center INSIDE the World Trade Center!

Since 2002, Guiliani has used September 11th and the dead of September 11th, to make himself millions, he's also used September 11th and the dead of September 11th to resurrect what was a Dead as The Dodo political career on September 10th, 2001.

The critter's a ghoul, he's an empty suit, he's got NOTHING else to run on but "9/11....9/11....9/11"....he's pathetic and he's the WORST sort of grubby little political opportunist.

Yuk, the man even looks like Skeletor, he makes your skin crawl.

On Edit:

Guiliani says out of all the candidates HE'S got the MOST experience of dealing with terrorism! What an arrogant POS he is....WHAT experience, he did jackshit on September 11th....ALL he seemed to do was run around like a puppy following the NYFD and the NYPD while THEY DID the REAL work dealing with the catastrophy of that day.

Guiliani ran around following them in a series of photo op's.

I never understood what he did on 9/11 that wasn't his f***ing JOB besides the fact that next to our missing piece of shit "president", ANYONE who was f***ing THERE would have been seen as amazing in comparison

4. He is
All he did was run around following the NYFD and the NYPD, and he appeared like every fews hours to give some form of mini-press briefing.

That's about all he did....he ain't Presidential material let's face it, the ONLY reason he's even running for President is because of September 11th, WITHOUT September 11th, Guiliani's political career was kaput on September 10th.

He's a scumbag and a slimeball.
