Giuliani Trails Hillary, Ties Obama in U.S. Race
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton holds the upper hand in a United States presidential contest against Republican Rudy Giuliani, according to a poll by Public Opinion Strategies and Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research released by National Public Radio. 47 per cent of respondents would vote for the New York senator, while 44 per cent would support the former New York City mayor.

In a separate match-up, Giuliani is tied with Illinois senator Barack Obama. In addition, actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson trails Rodham Clinton by eight points, and Obama by nine points.

1. In a fairness, 47% to 44% sounds like it is within the margin of error to me
In other words, I suspect they both are tied, which isn't actually the best news, especially after 7 years of republican incompentence. The spread SHOULD be much larger

2. More proof that polls dont reflect America and are useless.
There is no way that Barack Obama or any democrat would be that close to a republican, definitely not Rudy Giuliani. Fuck the bullshit polls.

3. that close in WHICH direction?
Do you mean Obama or "any other Democrat" would have a wider lead, or be hopelessly behind?

And are you saying that HRC ISN'T a Democrat?

4. I cant imagine that any of our democratic candidates would...
be in a race that close, I think it would be way in favor of any of the democrats over Rudy. Not a little over Rudy or about even, I think the democratic candidate will destroy whoever the republicans put up.
