2. Right! Make Gore another Nader!
That's all this will do.

Take the man at his word. Unless something drastic happens, he's just not interested. He's moved on.

Why not allow him to do the work he's chosen? It's just as important.

Now flame away.

15. It's a DFA poll Warpy, not the general election
What's the harm in allowing folks to express their support for Gore here? Comparing this situation to Nader's run in the GE as a Green is way over the top.

Dear Orlando,

Thanks for participating in the DFA Pulse Poll. Your first choice vote for Senator Hillary Clinton has been recorded. Hillary Clinton is currently 1st in the poll.

4. Done and Done
First, second and third choice = Al Gore.

At this point, unless Al Gore is the nominee or somehow Kucinich finds a way to win, I seriously doubt I will be supporting or voting for the D candidate.

16. THE best part of this particular poll
Edited on Wed Oct-17-07 04:06 PM by Greyskye
If you go to this page: http://democracyforamerica.com/pulsepoll/results, you can add or delete candidates, and see where voters support would end up if their favorite candidates drop out.

At the current time, Hillary loses to both Obama and Edwards in a 1 on 1 contest! Even Kucinich is in a statistical dead heat with her if all other candidates are eliminated:

2008 Pulse Poll

Click on the red minus icon to see the results as if that candidate dropped out of the race. Clicking a green plus icon will add that candidate back into the result calculations.

Candidate %
Representative Dennis Kucinich 51%
Senator Hillary Clinton 49%

Even a Gore/Hillary matchup gives strong support for Gore, especially considering he's a write-in candidate on this poll:

Senator Hillary Clinton 71.24%
Former Senator Al Gore 28.76%

Food for thought.
