3. Wouldn't surprise me. Barbara Boxer hinted at it while interviewed by
chris matthews.

I think he absolutely is itching to hit Iran. Go out with a cowboy-style blaze of glory. He came from Texas. Maybe he thinks it's time for The Alamo or something. Maybe he feels like there's nothing left to lose and he might as well go for broke.

My husband is still rock-solid certain that bush is going to declare martial law before his term is up, and suspend the general election and insist he has to stay in office. Picking a bigtime fight with Iran like this would offer the ideal circumstances under which he could do that. And sadly, there'd be enough noise from the Pox Noise/hate radio contingent screeching about how WE'RE AT WAR!!! WE HAVE TO UNITE BEHIND "OUR" pRESIDENT, DAMN YOU!!!! IF YOU DISAGREE, YOU'RE AN IRAN-LOVER AND A TRAITOR!!!!!! And probably enough of our gullible, malleable, non-reasoning fellow citizens would fall to their knees as instructed.

This is getting REALLY ugly. And I would go farther than Barbara Boxer did, and flat-out state "YES, I DO think bush is unstable. SERIOUSLY unstable." And I do. I think he needs serious psychiatric intervention at this point (besides, of course, a one-way trip to The Hague). I think he's slowly but surely coming unspooled. And probably hitting the bottle every hour on the hour. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't conduct that news conference with his trusty little silver flask of "spirits" hidden in his jacket's breast pocket. High-Class Drinkin', dontchaknow.

5. Interesting that you would say that.
"My husband is still rock-solid certain that bush is going to declare martial law before his term is up, and suspend the general election and insist he has to stay in office. Picking a big-time fight with Iran like this would offer the ideal circumstances under which he could do that."

My crazy right wing friend said the exact same thing. He hates the bushes now, but he use to love them and he still holds a lot of stupid right wing ideas. He thinks the bushes are just itching for an excuse to declare martial law and the American people will not say a word. He thinks the American people have all turned into wimps.

I hope they are wrong but I'm afraid they are right.

If mr Bush are really willing to go to war over Iran.. Even after all the lie he had make in Iraq.. Then US are going to get into more than they can eat.. And the Military DRAFT is not far around the corner.. Everyone between the age of 17 and 40 should have some plan to get out of the country, and into asylium in another country..

If he manage to bandwagon US into another war in the middleeast, maybe the last trow of sympati you stil have in the world wil go away.. Not just in the arabic world, who dosent like you anyway.. But in the broader world, who in some way still like/love US and have great contact with the States...

I fear that mr Bush and his Administration are doing what they want, becouse it is NOBODY to stop them doing that.. The congress and Senat is paralyzied and dont want to do something that wil destroy theyr chances later on.. And the Administration have been "great" at made the american public belive they can do as their please. Becouse US is US and US is Lords own country..

This is just SICK to read, but when it come from Mr Bush everything is posible.. Mr Bush want to turn the world into a GREAT Iraqi catastrope, and cant care less if half the world is destroying in the prosess..

Sorry my bad engelish, not my native language..

6. He actually admitted he will/did veto bills just to prove he
he is still relevant and in control (and can still throw a monkey wrench into progress). Then he can say the Dems accomplished very little during their term in a do nothing congress. Creepy fool...all for himself and not our country. I'd say hes the one who who is unpatriotic.

7. I don't know if I would go so far as to say "mad man," but he is definitely in over his head...
He is a lifelong failure. Failed in everything he did: failed business man, failed oil man, failed student, failed serviceman, failed world leader, failed president. And dare I say it? "Failed Christian." He's failed at everything. Everything...

Whatever Americans were thinking to believe this doofus would make a "good president" is way beyond my comprehension.

I don't know if I could refer to him as a "failed governor" since, as I understand it, Texas governor has very little power or responsibility so there's very little to judge him by.

8. He said, he's been telling people that if they want to avoid WWIII,
blah blah blah. So in other words, the doofus admits that he goes around tossing around threats about WWIII. :scrared:

9. they're afraid of us....
All this 'bush wants this' and 'bush wants that' is just worry warting. Bush represents some of the most powerful people in the world, and if he's subject to anything like what he deserves, then an entire can o worms is opened up. Bush aint gonna go easy, especially not to jail. That puts the men who, you'd think, would be eager to slap him down into a situation where they have no choice but to, very carefully, let bush and his main cronies exit stage left. Bush hisself don't matter (i doubt he, or his closest henchmen, are long for this world)...What matters is you, the 'public.' The mess bush and the gopigs have made is almost unbelievable- and thus the pigmedia coos like a fricking dove trying to keep yall from realising how bad things are. Rush limbah knows he will die if bush is nailed- and limbah's just a loudmouth. Imagine what those freaks at the NYtimes editorial board, or the managers of cnn, or indeed any pigmedia heavies, are thinking: they CREATED bush! (i recall hearing that even after the 2k election, a astonishingly large percentage of Americans still thought the youngster bush was the old man! Same name, everything! and the credit for bush escaping media exposure goes to the men who also carried reagan and ruined al gore after trying to ruin clinton. The record convicts them, and they are terrified that the american people going to wise up.
Nothing else explains what's going on but the need for TIME (and hemming hawing about Iran buys bush time) so mr pig can hide his part in siccing bush on america in the first place. And that's all they want to do; let bush run out the clock, and handover power to the dems, who are complicit with the strategy ie: if bush goes down, there'll be bloodshed, lotsa bloodshed (they fear lady guillotine, who modern day citizens might now understand a little better) and the demogratis leadership wants that as little as the gopig leadership
