A Lot Of Us Here At DU Believe That * Is Unstable But .........
if Congress really believed that he was (kind of like Barbara Boxer insinuated yesterday on Hardball) do you think they would do anything to remove him from power? I know the alternative is Cheney - is this what is preventing them from doing anything - because Cheney is probably worse?

I'm really concerned about this - because if he really is 'unstable' - he's been throwing around WWIII and nukes, etc and his finger is on the button - the proverbial football.

2. Yes, but if we remove one madman we get another,

and I presume that Bush gets his ideas from Cheney anyway, so unless they were both removed simultaneously, I'm not sure it would make much difference. One is incompetent and the other is diabolical.

ON EDIT

Come to think of it, removing Bush might only hasten our attack against Iran, since Cheney is 100% for it and something may be holding Bush back from doing this monstrously stupid thing.

3. So Does Congress Really Believe That * Is Unstable But.....
can't do anything because of Cheney? Have they been backed into a corner? So are they just letting him run his term out? One would think that the Repugs would know that * is unstable and want to do something to prevent him from doing anything stupid. After all they still have families and friends and still have to live in this country. Wouldn't they support the Dems in any impeachment of */Cheney? Or are the Repugs just lockstep behind these criminals?

It just seems to me that someone has to step up and state the obvious and do something about it. If not - they are all to blame - both Dems and Repugs.
