BARRON WILL BACK BARACK
and a group of black leaders are going to formally endorse Barack Obama for president next month.

Barron (D-Brooklyn) is joining a small group of New York Democrats to support the Illinois senator over home-state Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The nod will occur Nov. 5, Black Solidarity Day.

"Many of us in the black-activist community feel that the black community and our agenda have been left off the national debate," Barron told The Post.

An Obama spokeswoman said, "Sen. Obama disagrees with Councilman Barron's statements on several issues, but this campaign is about asking people to unite instead of divide, despite our differences."
