An earlier one has been deleted from the collection, but THESE, here, still work.

They're also still in my sig line for handy reference since I mouth off here so frequently.

PETE STARK NEEDS OUR SUPPORT!!!

And if his office is busy, CALL YOUR OWN CONGRESSPERSON. Tell him or her to get on board and support Pete Stark, too. If you have a republi-CON "representing" you, this is EVEN MORE IMPORTANT! Because the bad guys need to know they're outnumbered, and that Stark does NOT stand ALONE. They all need to know how many of us have Pete Stark's back.

This is REALLY important, because otherwise they're gonna make a sacrificial lamb out of him. These wimps have caved ENOUGH. ENOUGH!!!!

NOT here, and NOT now!!!

2. I called during my lunch hour and got through
and told the woman that I supported what Rep. Stark said and he should not apologize and to mention to Rep. Stark how Mr. Boehner never apologized for this.

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/09/12/boehner-troop-deaths-in-iraq-are-a-small-price/

Boehner: Troop deaths in Iraq are ‘a small price.’In an interview on CNN today, Wolf Blitzer asked House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) about “the Americans who are killed every month” in Iraq and “how much longer” the “military commitment is going to require?” “The investment that we’re making today will be a small price if we’re able to stop al Qaeda here,” replied Boehner. As Atrios notes, the “small price” Boehner refers to is “3774 dead US troops and counting.”

4. And, btw, it helps to remind whoever you call of Karla Faye Tucker.
Think bush isn't amused by sending people to their deaths?

Anybody remember when he was governor of Texas, and mocked Karla Faye Tucker before he had her snuffed? She'd turned her life around and begged for a reprieve from Death Row. He MOCKED HER, PUBLICLY. "PLEEEZE don't kill me!!!" He said that into a whole bank of microphones and cameras before rejecting her last appeal for clemency. MOCKED her.

And if you look back, the only time he's ever able to put two sentences together coherently is when he's talking about death, or killing, or war. In this case, now, WORLD WAR III.

His track record betrays him - he does INDEED get off on the idea of people dying. Especially if he gets to hasten or bring on their deaths.

I mentioned that to a young lady in Stark's office, who sounded rather frazzled. She said "that's a good point!" It's worth reminding them, guys. AND letting them know that WE SUPPORT PETE STARK.

I, myself, wish a WHOLE LOT of other Congresspeople would start talking like he did. It's LONG PAST time to stop pulling punches.
