Heres is a phrase I am reminded of from the 90's.
I don't know how he became President, I don't know anyone who voted for him. Sound familiar today about the upcoming primary?

Well guess what? This was my response. Well I must be a very important person, because I voted for him and he's President!

2. I Tell This Story All The Time
Edited on Fri Oct-19-07 06:27 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I swear to G-d it's true... We were sitting in a staff meeting and our Rethuglican boss told us in 1994 that he never met one person who voted for Bill Clinton...

4. You know, in 1992, most people who voted did NOT vote for Clinton
In 1992, Ross Perot took almost 19% of the popular vote. Clinton, who won the electoral college, only received 43.01% of the popular vote. He received 50% or more in only two "states": Arkansas and D.C. In 14 states, Clinton won the electoral vote but only got between 45% and 40% of their popular vote. He won the electoral votes of four states with less than 40% of their popular vote.

All I'm sayin' is it's apples and oranges, unless you expect there to be a third party candidate who takes a huge chunk of the popular vote away from HRC and the Republican...

6. He still received the majority of the vote.
And 370 to 168 in the Electoral vote is nothing to sneeze at.
