Chris Matthews on Joe Biden: "A wise man"

On Hardball today Chris Matthews was discussing Hillary Clintons "YEA" vote on the resolution naming the Iranian National Guard a terrorist organization. He played an excerpt from this Sundays interview George Stephanopoulos had with Joe Biden.

George Stephanopoulos:
"So if the President takes military action against Iran, those Senators who voted for that resolution share responsibility?"

Joe Biden:
"Absolutely, positively, in my view. Absolutely, unequivocally, positively".

Coming out of the piece, Chris Matthews stated about Joe Biden:
"A wise man"

1. I know I'm in the minority, or maybe standing all alone, but I've always really

liked Chris Matthews. I'm happy to hear he said that -- thanks.

7. I've always liked Chris Matthews, though I don't always agree with him.

At times he's even pissed me off. But I certainly agree with him in his praise of Biden. I've heard him speak of Biden in glowing terms a few times now. I don't know this, but I think he'd like to see Biden get the nomination. Just my opinion.

9. Matthews has been very serious and outspoken about the

war. He has a tendency to pander and BS a lot, but when it comes to the war, he is a different person.
