I also apologize for not appreciating how you may feel about an issue or words that someone said.

I regret not seeing the world through your eyes and failing to open my heart to your suffering.

I wish to embrace all the principles that make us not just Democrats - but lovers of mankind and to do so takes a mighty whack at my ego, but I am more than willing to change.

I will do my best in the future to ignore childish comments from others, and the people who come on this site to attack us. They only do so because they are troubled in their own lives and feel this outlet of releasing hatred upon others who may or may not be different than they themselves are is somehow enjoyable. I will simply click "alert" and move on, spending my time in better ways.

I will continue to strive to take steps that contribute to the collective good of all of us, and still reflect what I hope for my own life.

I will vote as I feel led to, but I will not chastise others who may not agree with me in a hateful manner, as being inferior or ignorant for not understanding things as I feel I know and see them.

I will be free from guilt over things I say here because I will free my thoughts from the grasps of close-minded conservatism that is the core power within that manner of living.

I will be a friend to those in need.

In essence, I will try to be a blessing.

I'm sorry I missed your post that you mentioned. I felt this needed written after yesterday's craziness of reading such hatred on here, and being upset with some posts and starting to feel myself get carried away and wanting to stop it before I did. I hope it will not only encourage me to do what I wrote - and just step above it all, but also encourage others who might read it.

I congratulate you for writing something positive also.

ps - I agree with you about Gravel, he does bring a fresh view of things, doesn't he? Sorta like Perot did years back.
