President For Rich People announces he is flying to California
White.
Republican
quite well off.

And 100 commercial buildings burned up. (the horror, the pain!)

No wonder President FRP is traveling to a disaster site, because white-owned businesses are in trouble! And Camp Pendleton is burning. (luckily all the troops are vacationing at a desert spa someplace else) and few people are available to put the fires out.

1. News flash : everyone in California is white and rich!
Are you kidding.
Even if that were true, there are still people loosing their homes,
their jobs and everything they care about.
I dont care if they're rich, white and republican,
they're still people!
No one, not even pukes deserve to be burned out.

3. I agree that no-one deserves to be burned out...BUT

He can take his false sympathies elsewhere...

2. Go home, asshole!
I live in Southern California. The LAST THING we need is more confusion and congestion from having him here.

How stupid....he is NO help (witness Katrina) and he will take valuable resources that can be used elsewhere to save homes, fight the fires, and take care of injured people and animals.

Fuck off, Georgie....it is a very dumb idea for you to come to the California fires for one of your stupid photo-ops.

4. He said he was flying there
I don't actually think he ever said anything about landing....

Remember his first katrina flyover,,,, from 40,000ft.

go towards the rescue of people and their pets victimized by the fires.
I wonder what the cost of his photo op fantasy flight is to the tax payers?

9. its what presidents do --
Presidents visit disaster areas, often flying over them. Democrats and repubs. Even candidates do it sometimes (VP candidate Edwards in 2004 visited victims of Hurricane Frances).

5. Excuse me? The vast majority of California is far from rich
I have every ethnicity under the sun on my block alone.

We also now have an evacuation problem far exceeding Katrina.

11. I doubt it.... but, that wasn't even close to my point...
If you think the whole of California is "white" and "quite well off", then it's obvious that your "research" was obtained from some very questionable sources.

Good job on that...

14. 2 things, i live in Norcal, yes it burns up here too and like many in socal we are
not rich and i wouldn't wish a fire, flood or any other disaster on anyone including the rich. I'm sure the socio economic status of the person who was killed in the fire isn't relative anymore either.

And for my second point, i think most people living in socal right now could really give a shit less if Bush is coming for a visit, i'm sure Bush and his photo-ops are about the last item on the list for them right now.

16. some here have miscontrued my original point.
considering how the chimpmaster gets his news (DVD, prepared, diced, and sliced) he saw million dollar homes burning up. He heard about businesses burning up. My point was that he looked that them as the haves and have mores. I was NOT making SOME STATEMENT ABOUT CALIFORNIA IN GENERAL. I was suggesting that NOLA was ignored, destroyed and still suffers, and I AM suggesting that southern California will get faster, better, more efficient and more productive help than Louisiana ever will. My words were a description of his mental process. Simple. bad grammar, incomplete sentences.

sheesh.
