32. No - I'm Blinded By Her Voting For A Totally Unnecessary War
War is the most hellish thing on Earth. There was no good reason to go to war - other than the love of war.

2. Polls are funny...
I take polls with a grain of salt. I have seen a few polls that show Obama leading in votes.

3. Thom Hartmann mentioned the other day...
that, indeed, Hillary did beat all the Republicans in the polls...but so did Obama and Edwards, and with greater margins. Edwards did the best by quite a margin over Hillary. So who's the most electable?

9. Hartmann makes the same mistake most "progressives" make...
They believe the support Hillary is getting is not genuine, that people are simply choosing her because she is well known and the front runner...

In fact the opposite is true, her support is highly committed to her...is deep as well as wide, and isn't dependent on her position in general election polls..(which are generally quite favorable)...

14. I Don't Usually Attack Other People's Candidates
But it takes a special kind of chutzpah for the supporters of some other candidates, with all the reactionary games those candidates are playing, to accuse Hillary of a lack of progressivism...

23. Who's most electable? Not the guy who gonna be in a weakened financial state by April.
The day Edwards went the public financing rout is the day he made himself unelectable.

If he is to outlast Clinton and Obama and by some miracle still have $10M left to spend between the nomination's virtual assurance and the convention, he will be destroyed by the Wurlitzer.

4. so the point is that polls do not mean anything
there`s enough numbers in these polls to claim that hillary or obama could beat any republican. the only thing that maybe true is that thompson does`t have a chance in hell

because pollsters do not include Edwards in hypothetical matchups anymore. Very few do it.

Name the latest 10 Dem vs. Rep. polls and tell me how many included Edwards.

But that's because they have concluded, rightly or wrongly, he's not a contender...

If my math is right there are fifteen candidates or so... They would have to ask questions about 225 potential match ups to be fair to everyone...

31. Yeah, but try putting all of their votes together against Hillary
the result would look a lot different. These polls you're quoting say nothing about a general election. It's a whole new ball game then.
