Is it hypocritical for DUers to ask that Dem pols stick up for each other
when those same DUers don't stick up for Dems themselves?

I am referring to the Stark condemnation. Many DUers are complaining about how the Dems did not stick up for Stark. I've noticed that some of those same posters are in the habit of criticizing the Dems on a daily basis (or close to daily) and I wonder why they think Dems should stick up for their side when they don't stick up for the Dems.

In fact, I'm wondering what the justification is for thinking that Dems should have stuck up for Stark. Is it because he's a Dem? Because he was right? Because it's what you want?

1. Probably not what you're looking for
but to me, it's the stuff the repubs have said and implied about Dems that made Stark's comments mild in comparison. I don't think any dems should have chastised him over it. They could always just leave it at: he doesn't speak for me. But the right sets the agenda, deciding what's important and too many dems in leadership seem to cave right in.
Is there hypocracy at DU - absolutely. We are, after all, still human beings.

3. You're telling me why they criticize Dems
I agree with you on that to an extent, but that doesn't say if it's hypocritical or not
