can change. Hate Crime: Do Unto Others. I won't spoil the film but one scene, about half way through, speaks to the mindset behind the "they can change" folks better than anything I have seen in awhile. The mother of a gay man who got beat to death is visited by the mother of the suspect in the crime. The suspect's mother starts to talk about her son not making good choices and tells the victim's mother she is not to blame for the choices her son made which made him a target. At that point the victim's mother slaps her and throws her out of the house. Watch the film, get the drift.

some great performances but other ones that are well less than great. The writing is great though.
