Bill Clinton Takes On 9/11 Conspiracy Protesters
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c68_1193347304&p=1

Bill Clinton addressed a crowd in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a fundraiser for his wife's campaign on Tuesday.

Clinton's 50-minute speech, which started about an hour behind schedule, was derailed briefly by several hecklers in the audience who shouted that the 2001 terrorist attacks were a fraud. Rather than ignoring them, Clinton seemed to relish a direct confrontation.

"A fraud? No, it wasn't a fraud," Clinton said, as the crowd cheered him on. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk."

When another heckler shouted that the attacks were an "inside job," Clinton took even greater umbrage.

"An inside job? How dare you. How dare you. It was not an inside job," Clinton said. "You guys have got to be careful, you're going to give Minnesota a bad reputation."

1. I've heard a lot of people slamming Bill for that, but I think there are
a lot of different interpretations of "inside job". Everybody is free to believe what they wish, but as much as I detest this admin, even I don't think they had someone do that! I think it was total incompetence, and they believe they got VERY LUCKY that Osama gave them their "Pearl Harbor type of attack" that enabled them to accomplish almost everything they wanted. That wasn't what they said to Bill though, and what his response would have been to that we'll probably never know.

2. The facts are that 2 planes hit the WTC, 1 plane hit the pentagon

and 1 crashed in Pennsylvania

The facts are that recordings from people on cell phones in the plane described the TERRORISTS who took it over

The facts are that bin laden claimed responsibility for it

The facts are that those captured in the first world trade center, confessed that this operation was in the works

The facts are that the PDB memo of August 6, 2001, indicated the risk

In fact the CIA and FBI were on the trail of this, and special agent John O'Neil, "The Man Who Knew, died in the WTC, realizing
along with Richard Clark what was happening.

Was there incompentence? absolutely. Did they take advantage of the situation? yes, but that is as far as it goes

Why don't they put their tin hats on and go bother the republicans if they are so keyed up this

5. So are the Jersey Girls allholes also?
They also don't believe a word of the official story. Do they think the buildings were brought down by demolition? That I can't say, but they don't put it past these evil bastards to let it happen; and I think that's just what they did.

7. The Jersey Girls are so far apart from these tin haters, I wouldn't put them in the same sentence
It was incompentence pure and simple.

There is no question though, that the administration took advantage of it in a major way, and allowed the patriot act, the IWR, and the invasion of Iraq to occur, because of the misreprentation and lies helped along by the media in this country

There were enough voices yelling about this, before and after 9/11, it's just that the media ignored them, and instead were lap dogs for the administration

6. whatever else he is, Bill Clinton is the ultimate politician...
...and he wants his wife elected president of the United States. He's not about to allow any "conspiracy theory" bullshit spewed from the right touch his wife's campaign. Whatever else he - or her - may think in private, he would NEVER give them that opportunity.

8. Bill slipped in one critical respect
No matter how rude people are being, saying "shut up" only brings you down to their level. "Be quiet" would have been the better choice of words. Or maybe just the "let me talk" part would've sufficed.

9. "I'll be glad to talk to you if you shut up and let me talk" sums up the whole Truther thing.
Edited on Fri Oct-26-07 05:45 AM by Perry Logan
If you think about it, that's the whole problem with the Truthers. Their minds are made up; they can't shut up; and they won't listen to anyone.

10. I'd be happy to think differently on 9/11 provided...
The numerous anomalies and omissions and outright distortions were addressed nationally, in a respectful, fully transparent forum. Instead, these fascists fought tooth and nail to prevent any investigation, and when they buckled due to public demand, rigged the game and refused to testify under oath.

If the Bush/Cheney regime are so "incompetent," than how is it they've pretty much gotten every damn thing they and their vested interests want ...er, everything they placed into power for? ...given how the blueprints for all that's occurred were drawn up prior to 9/11, just waiting for proper justification. You honestly believe these are people who would bother making such Big Plans without ensuring their implementation? Think again...and read the books of David Ray Griffin.
