thanks, well of course Obama is in no way slinging any mud, just highlighting the differences in how each of them stands on the issues in a forceful way!!! I mean if he said that she was a total jerk for staying with her husband after the way things went back in the 90's, staying with him to further her political career, now that would be mud-slinging!!!

6. Not necessarily. There was a time when two people could disagree
and treat each other with respect. JFK was looking forward to thrashing things out with Goldwater in a series of debates.

8. Before my time.
I was just 3 when JFK was assassinated, and old enough to watch the RFK news on tv, but my first real awareness of politics was Watergate. And then, of course, Reagan.
