10. Why? Is Billary getting royalties from the singers who show up at her rallies?
Maybe Billary should reject bigot Rev. Harold "Homosexuality is like thievery" Mayberry from her list of endorsers
before you get too much more "outraged." :eyes:

3. There's your answer, everyone
Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 08:21 PM by sampsonblk
Instead of dumping the guy, Obama puts him out front. I thought all this mess was a little overblown, originally. (Edit: Obama probably didn't know what the guy had said or that folks would be upset about it.) But in this case, Obama is definitely sending some type of message, in my opinion.

Does anyone know if anyone dropped out to protest McClurkin's inclusion? Or was everyone else cool with it too?

4. I think most accept that
somebody hired to sing actually....sings

Did McClurkin do anything bad on stage as one of the three acts or did he just do what he was hired to do?

16. He preached on stage !!!
McClurkin told a crowd at the Township Auditorium in Columbia that the musical acts were there "in the name of unity" and "in the name of change."

5. the message is don't throw another African American under the bus or you will be sorry I bet that...
Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 08:23 PM by bigdarryl
98% of those cheering for McClurkin were African Americans in that audience.based on that Obama made the right decision. He probably knows most of the gay community are going to vote for Hillary anyway.

18. I'll bet the openly gay minister doesn't think he's "a token".
But he probably doesn't know as much about his place as you do. :eyes:

Because you're so "fair and balanced".

19. How odd that he did that
by pissing off the GLBT community. You might think there was a better way.

And dude upthread says the GLBT community won't vote Obama anyway so toss em under the bus.
