Obama's camp knows well what they were doing

and felt this money raising through propping up Donnie would be good for their campaign (esp. there), and didn't care (but welcomed) the fact that they were very anti-gay in the church in that area and would tell others about voting for Sen. Obama over Sen. Clinton. But what they fail to realize is that gay people and their allies are very active politically, too - and we're tired of being treated like second class citizens and framed as perverts, derelicts, and unworthy creations.

Obama had a chance to make sure that Donnie wasn't even there, but chose against that so as to not lose all those votes to Clinton, fine, be weak on equality, but to allow Donnie to MC and then go on a rant about how he was attacked says it all - his staffers should have already been told to not allow him to do this, and if he started to say anything about gay issues, and his own self hatred, that he be asked to stop, but that's the point, they gave him the mic! At an OBAMA event! To spew his rhetoric!

Thanks Sen. Obama - you won't be getting my support if Edwards drops out, my support & money will go behind someone other than you, and I'm certain there's millions of other GLBT and friends, who won't be giving to you either, or walking the streets for you, and good luck getting the suburbs to vote for you without our support.

Edwards/Biden/Kucinich/Clinton, but I sure hope Gore gets in, but I realize it is probably too late for that. So best wishes to those candidates, and maybe Obama will apologize for poorly handling this disaster he created. But I still won't vote for him now.
