Went to get Gas today... It jumped 10 cents... It is now $2.95 where I live

Even when Katrina happen and gas price went up... It never went up that high where I live...I'm nervous to see what it will be like for Thanksgiving.

Man, last year, we had it to almost $3.50 at times, and yeah, we had a big spike today that surprised me. We're at $2.97 around here.

6. This is the beginning of a long, hard upward spiral.

Like a hawk riding a thermal. The updraft is fueled (pardon the expression) by $90+ a bbl oil, and it ain't coming down soon. I think we'll see $5 gas within a year.
