I then tore the check up into itty-bitty little pieces and I put it in an envelope with a flyer from the Human Rights Campaign.

out what he has to say on the issue

the only problem is that I can't get to his statements on issues without giving him all my personal information, including my email addy. so, I entered bogus info (which usually I don't bother doing, but I was willing to try to see his positions) and then was sent to a "Tell Your Friends" page.

I finally got around all that by hitting the "Contact Us" link. but I'm already pissed so I guess I won't bother.

If you care to link his page where he supports Gay Rights and Civil Rights I'll take a look when I calm down.

I did manage to get around it and found a strongly worded negation of McCackle whoever's stand on the issue signed by Obama but I did notice it was dated last week (the 22nd)! and he still allowed his 'video message' be broadcast

the only ones I've signed up for is Edwards and Clinton, but they still had the sign up prominently displayed on the front page in spite of my already being on their lists. I checked the rest just to make sure.

ALL of them offered me a easy to see option to by pass the sign up however.

forgive my snarky comment please, I'm just surprised at Obama's campaign and frustrated that although he did put out a statement strongly against homophobia, he still allowed his video to play without addressing the issue at what turned out to be an apparently homophobic message from the MC/Headliner

Just because I don't get bullied into believing bathroom sex isn't perverted or that 90% of this current nonsense isn't mcbullshit doesn't mean I don't advocate for gay rights. I live in Oregon and advocated for our gay rights legislation, which passed by the way. And while I was advocating for civil unions in real life, I was called filthy names at DU for saying the exact same thing online, protection not perfection. Funny how that works around here.

I think this issue with Obama and his entertainment cast is going to show up the Hillary supporters as being the most UNsupportive Democrats in the USA!! They don't know how to work an issue through, don't know how to engage people with other beliefs, don't know how to win at politics.
