If Wolfson and Clinton campaign continue to whine about Obama abandoning the "politics of hope"
. . .it will backfire. He just looked like a little cry baby on the Joe Scarborough show, he seriously did. He must have mentioned it 4 times. The "politics of hope" does not mean you ignore your opponents record or just stay quiet when they attack you. Watch the Obama campaign, and the press if they are objective, call the Clinton campaign out on this.

1. It's about changing Washington, not holding hands and singing Kumbaya with your opponents.

2. Obama sends "I'm going negative!" press releases, and you cry they were read?
The Barack bunch has really gone through the looking glass recently.

3. Hope Means Not Having Your Child Killed In A Insane War
It means not having your job outsourced to China.
It means an America that does not torture.
It means a government that respects the Constitution.

Pointing out that a candidate is on the wrong side of these things gives me hope that we won't have to tolerate them again.

4. Wolfson had some weak moments on the Today show
"Senator Obama seems to think the way to bring this country together is by attacking Hillary Clinton."

He said, "attack Hillary Clinton" about four or five times in the interview. Sorry, but the type of "attacks" that Obama is levelling at Clinton now are the equivalent of a cup of warm milk compared to what the Republicans will give her in the general. Of course, this is less about her hurt feelings than an attempt to paint Obama negatively. It also signals that she won't respond to challenges for more substance with substance. We'll see if that works; I don't think it will.

6. As Obama's spokesman, David Axelrod, said on Morning Joe, "It's not a coronation!"

9. If Hillary complains tonight that Obama has abandoned the politics of hope. . .
. . .Obama needs to pounce. More importantly he should just call her campaign out before she gets a chance to complain.

7. NBC is promoting Obama like a circus side show..
"Tune in tonight for the debate. Obama will be more aggressive. He will be attacking Hillary Clinton on her policies."
Come one, come all, watch Obama decisiveness holding Sen Clinton's feet to the fire!

Geebus! Does Obama's have the self confidence necessary to perform on cue relaxed and presidential under all this pressure? I guess, we'll find out tonight.

11. Don't worry, if he fails to emerge from the debate with Hillary's blood dribbling down his chin
the MSM will say he failed to land a meaningful blow and she was the winner...it's teed up rather nicely for her. But she won't make the most of this opportunity if she plays it safe and just strikes the "sad to see these kinds of attacks" pose. People want to see more than that. From a purely tactical standpoint, I think she'd do better if she hit Obama back on something of substance and made him play a little defense too.
