1. I tend to agree with your assessment...
Obama started off slow, but improved over the night.... Richardson had a few moments, but not consistent... Clinton may get some sympathy points for being ganged up on, but her lack of preparedness for the drivers license for immigrants question (and seeming contradiction) will hurt.

I really like Dodd and his stances on most issues. He didn't get enough time, I think. Poor Dennis-- he is honest as the day is long and they use that against him. He makes me want to hug him... He's the real deal, but the bullies in the MSM will never paint him as anything but a "looney" and far left "extremist."

10. after quickly perusing the post debate threads . . .

I think the big winner was "Everyone's Preconceptions", and the big loser
was "Everyone Else's Candidate".

but that is just a guess.

2. I mostly agree.
Personally, I don't think Dodd always does well, but he did tonight.

Dodd and Biden did really well.

Kucinich is being swallowed alive which is really a shame because he has an awesome healthcare plan.

Richardson was there.

Clinton is in the Emergency Department having have her ass that had been handed to her reattached. That was brutal.

4. I thought they all did well
I enjoyed them all. Obama was right on point about the first lady records and he had that great line about caring for the living.

5. I'd say Dodd and Biden, maybe Richardson on the winners side
that's really about all

Clinton somewhere in the middle

Edwards and Obama below that

If only they'd give Kucinich a chance to really talk...

7. Richardson's performance is the only thing keeping Hillary out of the cellar, IMO.
He was really a mess.

9. Though she clearly lost, this was the first time I've ever gotten how smart HRC is
With no personality to fall back on, she had nothing but her wits. It was like the I Love Lucy episode in the candy factory... the hits kept coming and coming, and the wheels in her head were spinning away. (Often providing BS answers, but I was impressed she kept speaking in paragraphs.) She finally got mentally fatigued in the last half hour.

Annoying, tone-deaf and evasive performance, but an impressive job of raw survival.

I am increasingly comfortable with being a Biden supporter.
