Now I know why Russert asked Kucinich about the UFO thing...
Edited on Tue Oct-30-07 11:12 PM by cat_girl25
“I seriously believe we have to start asking questions about his mental health," the Ohio congressman told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "There's something wrong. He does not seem to understand his words have real impact."
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Kucinich is talking about Bush here. But the UFO = Kucinich is what will be talked about tomorrow to overshadow the Bush mental health issues.

4. What the hell is there to disbelieve about UFO's? Shit, we live in a massive...
Universe, (and much other space out there) that we know nothing about... Why the hell is everyone so certain that there are no UFO's out there? I believe that there are many things out there that we still know nothing about, so what's so hard to understand about saying I really don't know if he saw a UFO or not... Many people have claimed to seeing UFO's.

6. I agree. Seeing a UFO isn't the same as claiming to have been abducted.
Edited on Tue Oct-30-07 11:04 PM by Union Thug
Seeing a UFO is just an admission that you've seen something that you cannot explain. It was a poison question with obvious intent. The MSM has no interest in letting a real progressive thinker get any traction in this country, so they have to attack and smear. It's pretty obvious.

....because Kucinich has been making noises about Bush's mental state. Excellent insight.

13. People see UFOs because we live in a culture with science fiction movies
Catholics in Romance language speaking countries see the Blessed Virgin Mary, because that interpretation for mystical experience is what they have available to them. Not all people who have such experiences put them at the center of their lives. Really.

17. I got so pissed when he asked that.
He figures that the general opinion of Kucinich is that he's a flake. But lately, some of his comments have been getting out and people are realizing that they make sense. So, of course he asks the UFO question to reinforce the original view that, yes, he is a flake.

20. If they wanted fireworks, rather than to create or
reinforce a particular impression, they would have asked him about that statement.

Notice that they did not ask Obama about McClurkin?

Questions carefully crafted for a predetermined agenda.
