Biden's best line tonite wasn't about Rudy "a noun, a verb, and 9/11" it was
when he compared how Iran has barely any nuclear capability compared to Pakistan.

He blew me away with his answer. It really put everything in perspective of how insane it is that this administration is beating the drum to go to war with Iran AND how gullible the Senators were that voted for the K/L resolution.

1. I am so impressed with Biden
and the truth is that he speaks what he truly feels. Maybe its because he's running at 6% or maybe its because that is who he is. Even if you don't support his views, you have to give him a lot of credit. Plus, he goes out of his way not to attack the other candidates in a negative fashion. Biden is really growing on me.

7. Biden has a rep for telling it like it is - no BS, so his standings in the polls
aren't a factor.

And I know what you mean -- he grew on me too. The more I saw and heard him, the more impressed I became. Initially I liked them all equally -- and probably paid the least amount of attention to Biden. Now, the comparison between Biden and the others seems so obvious - and vast -- to me.

Happy to hear you like him, too, regardless of whether or not he becomes your candidate! :hi:

13. yeah, I'm getting into the game late
been watching from a distance, waiting for the fireworks to start. He is the only one up there that I feel could walk into the oval office tomorrow and begin doing a great job, That is NOT to say that any one of those candidates wouldn't make a great prez. I just have a gut feeling with Biden that he could go in there and get it done.

to feel Biden would be the best. :hi:

10. He's already working on ensuring smooth relations with Pakistan. Just sent a
letter to Musharraf encouraging him to provide adequate security to Bhutto when she returns. He knows it will be a volatile situation and I think he's hedging his bets. Not even sure if the current administration has communicated with Pakistan at all. He really does have a grasp of the big picture and how it's all interrelated.

14. I like Biden
his expertise on foreign politcy definitely is a plus. He also plays well to middle class, blue collar folks in middle america. But like Richardson, I worry he has a foot in mouth problem, and is not the most politcally savy. I can see him screwing up and being a one termer. He'll have to convince me more.

20. Hi Superman
Just keep your eye on Joe. Check him out. Go to his Senate and Presidential site. And I would definitely check out some of his on the floor Senate speeches.

Here's one of the best speeches you'll ever hear from a Senator on the Senate floor:

Also please, if you have the time, check out a video I produced in support of Joe Biden:

21. Yeah, but that was an awfully good one. A World-Class zinger.
The audience certainly appreciated it.

Biden impressed me, too, with what were clearly HUGELY-well-informed answers on foreign policy and a clear-eyed view of what's gone wrong and what's needed to rectify it. I kept thinking: there's our next Secretary of State, or even National Security Advisor if he doesn't get to the big chair. I want that brainpower helping to turn the ship of state off the sand bars in pirate waters, and back to safe sailing. Just really impressive. You get this great sense of confidence that he knows that turf - better than any of the idiots and schmucks in charge now.

27. That's right pirhana...Biden won't take his eye off the ball..
He gets the big picture. For years he's been saying "connect the dots!" and it has fallen on deaf ears until now. I think at the debate last night at least a few people had their eyes open that Iran is not the looming threat the media and *co want to make it out to be. This man MUST become our next president.

32. It seemed everything shifted in the debate with this
answer. Everyone else was saying pretty much the same old stuff. Then Biden interjected some real maturity and common sense to the discourse. Some of the candidates seemed to be obsessed with the prevailing attitude that they had to bring Hillary down, but Biden showed why HE was the best choice to run against the republican front-runner. He clearly was the grownup on the stage, along with Dodd.

Biden only had six minutes and he used that time masterfully.
