It's going to end up Huckabee/Romney or Vice Versa...McCain is tired like Thompson...
I've been watching C-Span's 'Road to the White House' and that's my conclusion...

BTW...Hillary gave a speech I liked from Wellsley ...and her "voice tone' was low and she was very "conversational." I liked what she said..actually LOVED WHAT SHE SAID ...in a quiet voice..not that strident one that Politico and other's seem to have problem with.

BUT...here's the problem... McCain and Huckabee are "Hucksters" just like the whole Repug Field of Candidates...

And...Hillary shows her "soft, feminine side, at Wellsley...but ANY GOOD SPEAKER could have said what she did about what's needed about "Student Loans" (she would make them go back to the percentage SHE had when she and others of her generation had the "low interest" payback.

I liked what Hillary SAID...but I know that once she becomes President she will NOT DO WHAT SHE PRO
MISES!

She will "charge Congress with following her" but she will GIVE UP like Clinton did when the RW GOES AT HER!

That's my WORRY...that HILLARY will be like Pelosi and Reid...and every time the Repugs raise their evil Hannity/Colmes/Murdoch WSJ/Limbaugh HEAD...SHE WILL CAVE! She will CAVE!

If someone can tell me WHY she will not cave like she and Bill did working against the Middle Class then I would consider voting for her...but so far...it's all RW Pander.

2. Rudi is like the "Mob" that keeps on giving...Dems could Trashin him with One
Targeted Ad... Rudi is OUT...look for Huckabee who's going for the Environmental Fundie Christians who see THEMSELVES as "Stewards of the Planet." Those folks are getting to the point where they would support GORE over Huckabee...

Wait and see.. Not all FUNDIE Christians are Cruel in the Gingrich Mode or the Rove Mode.

It will take them a bit ...but they've moved forward many steps under the Busholini Regime!

3. It'd be GREAT if the Repubicons nominated Romney!
All the fundies will stay home because he's "not Christian" enough for them.
They might even run a 3rd party Jesus candidate - and Nader their hopes for the Whitehouse.

4. I can see Romney as the nominee--Karen Tumulty wrote
a very positive piece on him for Time magazine. It was the first positive press on Romney in the MSM I've read, and it may be a harbinger of things to come. Romney has a good resume and has a decent list of achievements. His only problem is...himself. We just don't like you, Mittens. Sorry.

5. I'm confused. You said you liked what she said, but then "it's all RW Pander."
Which is it? I'm assuming you don't like RW pander.

How much she is able to accomplish will depend on whether she has majorities in Congress and, if so, how big they are. (Yellow dog Democrats won't always vote in a progressive manner.) That is something all of us can help with.

6. Really? I think it'll be Romney/Thompson.
I don't know why, I just do.

Edwards/Obama vs. Romney/Thompson would be my guess.

Or Romney/Thompson vs. Clinton/Clark.
