I'm not sure if I have this correctly but I'm certain that's what he said. If that's the case then this guys arrogance has no end. Kucinich doesn't look too interested on that end and I haven't heard anything from the other candidates on this.

It also appears he think he has 35 (or was that 30 years) of successful (His word was "consequential") experience.

I really can't wait for the next debate. This guy just keeps setting himself up as a punching bag. He has some issues that he's advocated for that I agree with. OTOH there are others that have been absolute disasters.

1. I could not disagree more... I believe I am in good company...
But, I certainly won't convince you otherwise.

2. Do you know how to use a spell check? Do you hang around here JUST to bash Biden?
If you hate him so much, why were you just watching his town hall discussion in Iowa? Because that's the only place you could have gotten that quote. Isn't there somebody else you hate that you could disseminate your ignorance upon? Give equal hate to everybody, so to speak. Freak.

3. Ok, Fine.......
Did he really say all the candidates want him for Secratary of State or not?

If so, even you have to admit that's mighty arrogant of him.

4. Look what I found in your journal, amidst the Biden-bashing
(take your own advice)

I'm taking another sabbatical from this place;

I took a six month haitus from the place because I got tired of watching everyone rat eachother out. I always felt that as Democrats we should all be on the same team and work a little harder to get along with one another.

I don't hate anybody here. As a matter of fact, I have longstanding rivals and others I keep in contact with via PM. For the most part it's all been respectable even with the folks I've had some hard fought debates with in the past. The point I've always felt was to keep it fun.

And so we did.

Then after awhile it seemed that those not involved in the debate or discussion got the guster to play hall monitor. The first few times I let it fly and then it just got to annoying to bear. So I decided to to take a break. I didn't post here for six months. My hope was that with time some folks would get tired of ratting eachother out and the "neener neener" antics that followed.

Really, if I wanted to deal with that I'd spend my free time with the middle managers at my job. They always get their jollys diming each other out and those around them.

I don't blame the mods for it. I think they have a tough job and it can't be a lot of fun playing babysitter on this board all day. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with the bullshit those guys have to put with on a daily basis around here.

The point is that hanging around here too long makes me start to hate Democrats. Not for the issues but for the way they treat some treat eachother around these parts with the ratting. I don't want to hate anyone or this party.

5. What's this got to do with me
I don't understand.

Did Joe Biden arrogantly claim that all the Democratic candidates want him for Sec of State?

If not then fine.

If yes, you can't deny that is an extremely arrogant statement.

8. I suppose Biden did then
Because I don't see anyone denying it or claiming that I screwed the context up.

Let's try this exercise and see if you can understand it. This message board is not going to effct the outcome of the primaries. Campaigning on a message board is just about the lamest activity anyone can engage in. It really is. That stuff just take place in the street with other REAL PEOPLE and not online personalities. If anything, if you haven't figured this out, if it's having any impact it's turning people off.

Just rememeber that over the last 7 years the only thing more pathetic than Bush and Cheney were their supporters. The same people who would claim he could do no wrong.

Most of us really do come here just to have a discussion. Maybe even a few laughs through it all.

12. "Most of us really do come here just to have a discussion. "
...Or to bash a candidate.

I see nothing in your OP - or subsequent posts - that invites a true discussion.

14. BTW I don't really need to "bash" Biden
What's posted on this board doesn't effect anything except for those with really tiny minds.

There's really nothing I can do to Biden that he hasn't done or will not do in the future to himself. The arrogant not to mention thoughtless remarks do it every time.

His positions on many issues are even worse than what comes out of his mouth.
