Can someone help me understand the ideological
differences between the Neocons and the DLC? Seriously?

1. Not much really
The neocons actually started as disaffected liberals, as did the DLC.

Major difference is that the neo-cons primarily allied with the GOP and the DLC aligned with the Democratic Party.

on edit: I believe I'm a center-left populist but I just can't figure out why a can't trust the DLC(as one would think I would). Perhaps it is because they are so closely knitted to the neocons.

4. Why were they "disaffected"? When did the exodus begin? Thanks for this
explanation - it helped me understand MUCH better. I looked up neo-cons and it kept saying "liberal" and I just didn't get it. Now I do.

6. No not snarky...
I seriously want to know more about the differences other than party affiliation.

I've not watched the youtube link you posted yet but perhaps I will after I wait to see if more who don't dismiss my question as snark answer.

7. no real difference under the hood
they might use slightly different rhetoric, but they're ultimate goals are identical.
