Even though I called for Shaheen to resign, I'd respect Hillary's campaign if they defended him. . .

. . . as opposed to condemning his comments and keeping him. If he was out of line he should be gone, simply put. BUT if he was following orders or just using the strategy the campaign set out then instead of condemning him the Clinton campaign should stand behind him and kick Obama a little more. AND I'm an Obama supporter.

Believe it or not the attack is not what pisses me off, what pisses me off is when it appears the Clinton camp is behind the attack but does not want to own up to it.

If the Clinton camp wants to condemn him then they should fire his ass!

If the Clinton camp wants to keep him then they need to stand behind him and tell the public Obama had it coming.

1. I agree with you
But I agree in reverse.

Hillary should have just said:

"Well he does raise a valid point, but I'm sure the Senator will have no problem defending himself"

2. Clinton's handling of this is what is making her look bad. . .
. . .I think if she came out with a strong and critical statement of Obama that would have been better than condemning Shaheen and then letting him stay on the campaign. If they let the mopes who forwarded the e-mail go then they need to let Shaheen go if they don't approve of his comments.

3. If I'd been Clinton
I'd have backed up Shaheen on this one.

The other mopes she was right to get rid of.

4. But how do you think it looks to condemn him and then to keep him?

5. Did she condemn him?
I thought she just said she didn't condone what he said, and didn't authorize it.

In any event -- She would appear better if she either backed him up -- or dumped him.

I don't think it's earth shattering stuff, but hey -- the way everyone leapt on the Kindergarten nonsense, who knows?

Obama has a way of making every little comment from Hillary's camp seem like blasphemy.

6. Hey credit Obama for that. . .
. . .its politics, he made a turn of early mistakes and Hillary pounced on them, now she is screwing up and he is doing a good job of capitalizing on her miscues.

His passive/aggressive mode of attacking Hillary annoys the f**k outta me --

--but it seems to be working.

My problem is -- I'm not convinced it's Obama time yet.

8. I would agree for most people (its Obama time for me, but I understand if its not for others)
. . .but some of this is backlash against the whole Hillary's inevitable strategy.
