Who finishes fifth in Iowa? (I'm not asking for any ranking of 1-4). Will that candidate drop out?

Will that candidate endorse, and if so, who?

Will anyone else drop out after Iowa, but before New Hampshire, and if so who -- if anyone -- will they endorse?

I'm trying to get a handle on some unknown factors that might affect New Hampshire, and I'd appreciate your thoughts.

2. 5th i'm betting is Richardson.
Drops out and endorses Hillary.

6th probably Dodd, 7th Kucinich, 8th Gravel.

3. Joe Biden and no
Nobody will drop out after Iowa, with New Hampshire only 5 days away.

4. You might get an answer if you would address this question...
to the candidates. How the hell would any of us know what any of their contingency plans are?

5. If one candidate were to landslide Iowa there'd be more also-rans and more
will likely leave the race.

But if the percentages are cropped together by a couple thousand or even a few hundred votes, many moral victories can be claimed and candidacies sustained.

There are hints this week that Dodd will not be in the race for long, which is too bad IMO because he's one of the solid Democrats and we can always use more of those than fewer. It wouldn't dispease me if he decided to lead the U.S. Senate in the 111th Congress.

Maybe second or third. But she's not going to go lower than that.

10. Hillary
And yes I hope she drops out. After all the bullshit pulled by that right wing bastard Mark Penn, and the blatant racism blamed on "local campaign chairs", she deserves to come in last.

17. LOL! If wishes were horses.......
What ever happened to at least relatively objective analysis? Analysis fueled by dislike, is inherently poor. She won't come in 5th or even 4th. And with 50 million in the bank and leads in the 20 Super Tuesday states, she won't be dropping out.

11. I think Dodd could drop out BEFORE Iowa...because....
If he sees his close friend and colleague (Joe Biden) moving up with a real chance to make a move in Iowa, I think he'll step aside and ask his supporters to caucus for Joe Biden. Just a hunch.

14. Doesn't Dodd have something like twice as much cash on hand as Biden? I coudn't ever see Biden
dropping out for Dodd so contemplating the converse seems like asking way too much.

16. I'm thinking Richardson comes in 5th, drops out, endorses Hillary. Dodd comes in 7th, stays in
through New Hampshire, but then drops out and doesn't endorse. I think Biden drops out after South Carolina, and whether he'd endorse and who he'd endorse depends on the dynamic after South Carolina.
