Why are ObamaNation and the Edwardians so terrified of Mark Penn?

The obsessive PennPhobia is very unbecoming.

1. Not terrified, as a matter of fact we want that sorry scumbag to be the face of Hillary's campaign
Edited on Fri Dec-14-07 09:05 AM by undercoverduer
. . .he will make Iowa into a 2 way race overnight. 2 way being Obama and Edwards. Yesterday was the first day I saw him in action and said "Lord, please, please, please. . .let this man keep his job!" He is a miserable excuse for a human being.

2. LOL! That is funny!

The worse thing in the world for the Clinton campaign is to have Penn out speaking in public on her behave. He may be a good Rove-like character for the back rooms, but just like Rove in the other Party, you try and keep him behind closed doors...

3. LOL, hardly terrified, in fact, the best thing for Obama & Edwards would be
for Mark Penn to stay right where he is and to keep doing exactly what he is doing.

4. Add uncommitted people in there. Not terrified, totally repugned.
Penn is as repugnant as Rove. I know you probably like that, but we need a change in politics in this country.

14. I think the people who want him fired are Hillary supporters who actually care. . .
. . .how she looks. I only want Penn fired if Hillary is our nominee because he will lose it for her, but as long as Barack's opponent I love him!

7. Terrified? Are you kidding?
I've been adamantly against Hillary's policies on such a level, that
it's caused me stress. Having Mark Penn steer her campaign into the
ditch--while watching it from a front-row seat in Iowa--has actually
helped me to relax a bit.

Mark Penn is the best friend of Edwards and Obama supporters.

I went to an Obama house party last night, and I actually kept my mouth
shut and didn't bash Hillary. However, she was discussed. There
were a couple of people there who were on the fence between Hillary
and Obama. Everyone in the room agreed that she had run a deplorable
campaign in Iowa--even the 2 people who were still undecided.

Another thing...relying on Mark Penn's bag of tricks is a miscalculation at this point.
Penn tactics worked for the Republicans, post 9/11 when this country
seemed to be subconsciously looking for someone who was tough. The days
of running a campaign based on bullying and Swiftboating are so over. America
is ready for refreshing, honest change and hope. Mark Penn is a PR master, but his
tactics are stale, unappealing and directly associated with Rove and Bush. Ha...
not exactly a recipe for success right now.

15. Aw...I love the seezbag for what helping Obama look so fine he's leading in Iowa and tied in NH!
I hope he stays on with Hillary so they can sink the Titanic Clinton together by Feb. 5.

Go Penn! Keep attacking and swift boating Obama... I hear from Chuck Todd on MSNBC that Hillary is losing precinct captains in Iowa because
of Bill Shaheen's Rovian BS. Gotta love it! Obama supprters love Mark Penn!! And Chris Lehane!! And Peter Daou!! And Bill the sociopathic liar!

16. Nobody's "terrified"
Intelligent people simply know who and WHAT he is and stands for.

Not someone most progressives would care to assiciate with.

Of course, if one doesn't actually share progressive values, that's not a problem.

23. i have stated over and over that
hillary had the dam thing wrapped up when she started. she was way ahead in the polls in iowa and it collapsed. the the obama oprah week end was one of the last nails in the coffin of her iowa campaign.

who is to blame? mark penn and hillary. hillary should realize that penn has done nothing but harm her. you should do some research into the gore penn problem in 2000 and penn`s relationship with the clinton`s. it`s an easy find on goggle. i`m not afraid of penn,i think those who support hillary should be.
