Daniel Shore called bush* a liar yesterday.
On the Diane Rheem show on NPR. He said he did'nt feel comfortable saying it,but he said that is the way he feels.

1. Why should Shore feel uncomfortable stating the truth? Bush is a liar.
And a war criminal. The office he stole doesn't change the facts.

2. Schorr goes to great lenghts to avoid hysteria and hyperbole.
If he called Bush a liar, he had very good reason.

I'm listening to yesterday's show now to get a feel for this...

3. The first segment discusses the oddity of WAMU (DC NPR affiliate) dropping Schorr's slamming DeLay
So strange. Schorr graciously suggests that WAMU made the decision to drop Schorr's comments in deference to local content; Diane Rehm suggested ever so gently that the decision was made to avoid irritating DC lobbyists.
